International Conference on Global Ethics for Peace and Security: Searching for a New Paradigm of Living Together – Central America-Asia-Pacific (26-27 February 2015, San Jose, Costa Rica)

The conference was well attended under the theme Global Ethics for Peace and Security: Searching for a New Paradigm of Living Together – Central America-Asia-Pacific with the sub-themes – Global Perspectives on Ethics and Development: Trends Challenges and Opportunities; -- Social Inclusion and Vulnerable People.  The conference provided more opportunities for researchers and policy makers to meet, discuss and share their ideas, experiences and skills on good practice and policies on global ethics, peace and security. It highlighted the importance of common ethical frameworks, the evolving profiles and needs of vulnerable groups, the importance of economic access to other aspects of security, and the role of inclusive education as a tool for developing a culture of peace.
